Job Title: Electronics TechnicianJob Description
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team in an engineering environment. This role involves prototyping engineering designs and collaborating closely with engineers. The technician will engage in daily testing tasks, including weather and pressure testing, as well as technical simulations. The position requires working through prototyping units in partnership with engineering.
Responsibilities
+ Perform the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
+ Develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
+ Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems.
+ Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
+ Assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
Essential Skills
+ Technician experience
+ Experience in a digital environment working closely with engineers
+ Good communication skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School or Equivalent
+ 2-3 years of experience in a related field
+ Technical/Trade School Preferred
+ Ability to handle multiple opportunities and meet strict deadlines
Work Environment
The position is 100% onsite in Newtown, PA, within an engineering lab featuring electro-static flooring and pressure testing equipment designed to simulate space conditions. Lab attire is required, and the shift is from 7AM to 3:30PM.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newtown, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
