**Job Title:** Operator I – 2nd Shift

**Location:** Manassas, VA

**Employment Type:** Temporary

**Shift:** 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

**Pay:** $14.50 per hour

Overview

We are currently hiring **Operator I** employees for a food production facility. This role is responsible for following recipes and procedures to prepare products using the sous vide cooking process. This is a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail, consistent quality, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities

+ Follow all training in allergens, hygiene, safety, sanitation, and HACCP/GMP standards

+ Verify raw and prepared foods meet quality standards

+ Report any equipment or quality issues to supervisor

+ Accurately measure and weigh ingredients

+ Properly store raw and cooked product

+ Operate food preparation and packaging equipment according to safety guidelines

+ Prepare workstation based on production schedule

+ Maintain clean and sanitary work areas

+ Complete required production and temperature documentation

+ Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

+ Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

+ Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (Spanish a plus)

+ Ability to work in a team environment

+ Food preparation experience preferred, but not required

Physical Requirements

+ Stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for long periods

+ Lift and carry up to **40 lbs.** (up to **55+ lbs.** for some tasks)

+ Work in cold environments (+45°F to +60°F), coolers (+25°F to +40°F), and freezers (-10°F)

+ Work near hot equipment and sharp tools; follow all plant safety rules

**Pay Details:** $14.50 per hour
