    Job Title: Structural Project Engineer

     

    

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join our dynamic team for the SFHP project located in Scoville, ID. The successful candidate will lead a team to interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate the engineering technical aspects of complex projects. This role involves active participation in project planning, proposal reviews, and ownership of the engineering elements of capital estimates. Your technical guidance and recommendations will ensure that engineering aspects meet project requirements and remain within scope and budget.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead a team to organize and execute engineering technical aspects for complex projects.

    + Participate in project planning and proposal reviews.

    + Own the engineering elements of capital estimates.

    + Ensure all engineering aspects meet project requirements, scope, and budget.

    + Provide technical guidance and recommendations.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with 5-10 years of relevant experience or 5-14 years of relevant work experience.

    + Proficiency in structural analysis and design.

    + Professional Engineer (PE) certification.

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    + Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

    + Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.

    + Proven customer relationship skills.

    + Commitment to Health and Safety (HSE).

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Master’s degree in Engineering.

    + Experience with nuclear projects and NQA-1.

    + Subcontract Technical Representative experience.

    + Experience with cost and schedule management.

    + OSHA 10 Hour Construction Training.

    + Experience with Industrial or DOE projects.

    + Preferential field experience across EPCM and/or EPC execution models on major, complex projects.

    Work Environment

    This role involves intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting, with lifting requirements limited to 20 lbs. The longest distance carried is 50 feet. Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation, with occasional need to reach above and below shoulder level. Be alert to equipment in the field, work near construction job site equipment, and occasionally work near hazardous machinery. There is occasional need to walk on uneven ground and potential exposure to dust, gas, fumes, noise, and extremes in temperature or humidity.     This is a Contract position based out of Idaho Falls, ID.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
