    Job Title: Senior Project Manager

    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to oversee the full project lifecycle for public works projects, including roads, utility systems, and public infrastructure. This role requires coordination with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project alignment and stakeholder satisfaction. The ideal candidate will develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation plans while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage projects from pre-bid through closeout for public works projects.

    + Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

    + Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation plans.

    + Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including permitting and environmental standards.

    + Oversee contract administration, change orders, and procurement processes.

    + Mentor and support project engineers, superintendents, and field staff.

    + Drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement on all job sites.

    + Represent the company in public meetings, bid presentations, and community engagement efforts.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong background in public works construction projects.

    + Ability to manage projects from pre-bid through closeout.

    + Experience in site development and heavy civil construction.

    + Proficiency with project management software such as Procore and Microsoft Project.

    + 8+ years of experience managing public works or heavy civil construction projects.

    + Proven track record of delivering multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects.

    + Strong knowledge of federal procurement, public agency contracting, prevailing wage requirements, and permitting processes.

    + Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is strongly encouraged.

    + Proven track record in business development with the ability to identify opportunities and close deals.

    The role involves working both in the office and on project sites, including attending bid meetings and job walks.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ridgefield, WA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $145000.00/hr.
