Description
Mechanical Engineers are involved in the full life cycle of the product. Perform engineering calculations to design products or systems based on information provided by the Project Manager. Perform design analysis and determine part tolerances. Prepare, lead, and review concepts, design layouts, or schematics. Work cross functionally with the manufacturing team on the production floor. Debug and test end products. Prepare BOMs. See installation at customer sites and assist with service returns.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred, would also consider an associate's degree with relevant experience. 5-10+ years of experience with 3D design for large manufacturing equipment. Strong FEA and GD&T skills. Experience designing large hydraulic presses, large weld plates, or large scale machining/boring mills preferred. Must be mechanically inclined or have mechanical hobbies.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $60.00/hr.
