    We are seeking an experienced Project Architect to lead and manage K-12, municipal, and mixed-use projects from inception through completion. This role involves coordinating and communicating with clients and engineering trades, creating and modifying AutoCAD & REVIT files, and visiting job sites to survey and document existing conditions.

    Responsibilities

    + Coordinate all phases of marketing, presentation, and client relationships.

    + Supervise one or more design and/or production teams.

    + Develop designs and ensure technical coordination.

    + Complete design and production of original construction details.

    + Coordinate engineering efforts comprehensively and check drawings for accuracy.

    + Supervise the creation of working drawings for complex projects.

    + Write complete specifications for projects.

    + Manage CAD graphic standards, layering systems, and production files.

    + Ensure construction documents meet quality control standards.

    + Review check prints for progress, errors, and omissions.

    + Conduct quality control checks of all documents for permits or bidding.

    + Supervise CAD teams or departments.

    + Participate in bidding and procurement processes.

    + Oversee construction administration and all related phases.

    + Conduct comprehensive shop drawing reviews and proposal writing.

    Essential Skills

    + Licensed Architect in New Jersey.

    + 10+ years of experience in architecture, design, drafting, construction drawing, and construction documents.

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT.

    + Experience managing public/municipal projects from start to finish.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with K-12, institutional, municipal, or public projects.

    + Ability to manage a team of junior staff to meet client deliverables.

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    + Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
