As anAdmissions Outreach Counselor, you’ll help young people begin this life-changing journey—connecting with communities, schools, and organizations to recruit and enroll new students into the Woodland Job Corps program.

•Position Summary
Responsible forapplicant recruitment and arrival coordination, while providingoutreach and admissions supportthat leads to successful Job Corps enrollment.This includes identifying and developing community partnerships that generate referrals and strengthen program awareness.
You’ll conduct eligibility screenings, review applicant files, and ensure all admissions activities followPRH (Policy and Requirements Handbook)standards.Your work ensures that qualified young people have access to the opportunities and resources they need to build brighter futures.
•Key Responsibilities
+ 📝 Follow all integrity guidelines and ensure accuracy of student data
+ 🎯 Help the Center meet or exceed DOL/Company performance goals
+ 💬 Conduct applicant screenings and determine Job Corps eligibility
+ 📋 Evaluate behavioral, medical, and educational records
+ 🙌 Refer ineligible applicants to alternative educational resources
+ 🤝 Develop partnerships with community agencies, high schools, and employers
+ 🏫 Conduct presentations, campus tours, and parent meetings
+ 🧩 Serve as a Center Liaison to ensure smooth enrollment and early student retention
+ 💡 Provide career counseling and admissions support throughout the process
+ 📈 Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with Job Corps requirements

Qualifications
•Qualifications & Experience
+ Bachelor’s degreein Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Education, Social Science, Communications, or a closely related field from an accredited school;or
+ Associate’s degreein Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Education, Social Science, Communications, or a closely related fieldplus two years of related experiencein youth programs
+ Must possess avalid in-State Driver’s Licenseand meetCompany insurability requirements
