We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven scientist with strong molecular biology expertise to join our team. This position supports complex sequencing applications and custom gene expression analytics that enable innovative product discovery and development within our Crop Science Division.
Responsibilities
+ Independently deliver high-quality quantitative RT-PCR production, including nucleic acid extraction for diverse stakeholders, with a strong emphasis on troubleshooting, data analysis, and maintaining accuracy using standard software tools.
+ Execute a variety of next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation protocols to support RNA and DNA workflows, both manual and automated, with precision and consistency.
+ Proactively track and document all work through multiple LIMS and automation systems, maintaining clear, timely, and professional communication with team members and lab operations support.
+ Contribute to a respectful and productive team culture, demonstrating sound judgment, adaptability, and accountability in all aspects of laboratory work.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in PCR and Molecular Biology.
+ MS or higher degree in Molecular Biology or a related field, with demonstrated hands-on experience in RNA extraction and handling, cDNA synthesis, PCR, and NGS library creation.
+ Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, showing initiative in identifying challenges and driving projects to completion.
+ A professional, mature, and positive attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and adherence to high compliance and data integrity standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with LIMS systems, electronic note-taking, and various liquid-handling automation platforms such as Tecan and Mantis is highly desirable.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general data analysis tools.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
