Description

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Credit and Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst to join our finance team on a Contract to Hire basis! The Credit and AR Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s credit risk and ensuring the timely collection of accounts receivable. This position plays a critical role in protecting assets, supporting cash flow, and maintaining positive client relationships. This role is a full 40 hours and is hybrid here in DTC.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and payment history.

+ Set and review credit limits in accordance with corporate policy and risk appetite.

+ Monitor outstanding accounts and proactively follow up with customers to ensure prompt payment.

+ Manage the AR aging process, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies to minimize bad debt exposure.

+ Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to address billing disputes and enhance the client experience.

+ Prepare periodic reports on credit risk, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), collections activity, and trends for management review.

+ Assist with month-end close and other accounting processes as required.

+ Recommend process improvements and support automation initiatives in credit and AR operations.

+ Maintain accurate documentation and comply with internal controls and company policies.
