Senior Accountant – Balance Sheet Reconciliation Project

About the Role

Our client, an established organization in Benbrook, is preparing for year-end reporting and an upcoming company acquisition. They are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to support critical balance sheet reconciliation work and ensure clean, accurate financials.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations, with a focus on accuracy and error resolution

+ Investigate discrepancies and drill down into AP log issues, tracing errors to source transactions

+ Clean up and validate data to ensure financial statements are audit-ready

+ Support the month-end and year-end close processes

+ Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve documentation

+ Assist with reconciliation and financial accuracy needs tied to the acquisition of a new company

Requirements

Ideal Experience

+ 5+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or corporate finance)

+ Strong background in balance sheet reconciliations and cleanup projects

+ Proven ability to identify, investigate, and resolve errors efficiently

+ Experience with AP, month-end close, and audit support

+ Sage Intacct experience is highly helpful and strongly preferred

+ Ability to work independently and communicate findings clearly

+ Comfortable working onsite in South Fort Worth
