Description

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a team in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will contribute to the efficient management of accounts receivable operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices and payments. This position is offering a hybrid work schedule, with three days in the office and two days working remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Handle billing operations, including generating invoices and reconciling discrepancies.

• Apply incoming payments to customer accounts accurately and maintain detailed records.

• Collaborate with the Canadian team on accounts receivable tasks; French language skills are beneficial but not mandatory.

• Utilize cash application systems to streamline payment processing.

• Work with SAP and other accounting software to manage financial data effectively.

• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Prepare reports on accounts receivable status and provide insights to management.

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting standards.

• Support additional accounting functions as needed.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or similar accounting roles.

• Proficiency in cash applications and payment processing.

• Familiarity with SAP or other enterprise accounting systems.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies effectively.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Flexibility to adapt to a hybrid work schedule.
