    Description

    A dynamic agency in Solana Beach is seeking a proactive and strategic HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources, including employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and organizational development.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Oversee the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding.

    + Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.

    + Maintain compliance with California labor laws and employment regulations.

    + Administer benefits, payroll coordination, and leave management.

    + Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support company growth.

    + Partner with management to enhance employee engagement and retention.

    + Support professional development and training programs.

    + Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate reports as needed.

    + Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

    Requirements

    + 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership capacity.

    + Strong working knowledge of California employment law and HR best practices.

    + Experience in a creative, marketing, or professional services setting preferred.

    + Proficiency in HRIS systems (ADP, Paycom, or BambooHR).

    + Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; PHR/SPHR certification a plus.
