Our trusted client is seeking a Technical Accounting Manager consultant for a long-term engagement. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with hands-on experience preparing complete consolidated financial statements under US GAAP. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of financial reporting requirements and disclosure standards, combined with a proven track record of working in large public accounting or detail-oriented services firms. This is a long-term hybrid contract position offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity.

The day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Prepare comprehensive consolidated financial statements under US GAAP, including all necessary disclosures.

• Ensure accurate and proper presentation of the Statement of Cash Flows.

• Conduct thorough research to understand specific financial reporting requirements and apply them effectively.

• Collaborate with internal teams to manage month-end close processes and maintain the general ledger.

• Perform account reconciliations and ensure all journal entries are completed accurately and timely.

• Lead the preparation of complete financial statement packages, ensuring all components are accurately integrated.

• Support financial statement audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.

• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

• Provide insights and recommendations to improve existing accounting processes and systems.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical accounting, with a focus on preparing consolidated financial statements.

• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and financial disclosure requirements.

• Hands-on experience with month-end close processes, general ledger maintenance, and journal entries.

• Strong background in financial statement audits and account reconciliation.

• Proven ability to prepare complete financial statement packages independently.

• Experience working in large public accounting or detail-oriented services firms.

• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
