Job Description
Seeking an entry-level electronics technician. Someone that enjoys refurbishing stereos, or refurbishing electronics
Responsibilities
+ Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
+ Collect all materials and equipment needed to begin the assembly process.
+ Complete small assemblies using small hand tools, such as screwdrivers, nut drivers, cutters, pliers, and wire strippers.
+ Attach ends of wires and cables to components, plugs, terminal strips, or connectors.
+ Perform soldering with printed circuit boards and cables.
+ Crimp electrical connectors onto wire ends by hand or with an automatic termination machine.
+ Cut wires to length by hand or with an automatic wire cutting machine.
+ Test wiring and connection continuity using a tester.
+ Identify data on completed harnesses or cables.
+ Perform related duties as assigned, within the scope of the position.
Essential Skills
+ Previous small assembly experience using small hand tools.
+ Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot to the component level.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Minimum 2 years required as an electrical or electronics technician.
+ Good hand-eye coordination.

Work Environment
The role primarily involves sedentary physical work, requiring the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. The job also involves frequent walking and standing, as well as hand/eye coordination for operating a computer keyboard and office equipment. Employees will need vision for reading and interpreting information, and clear speech communication for interacting with colleagues and customers. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
