    Aerotek's client is looking for a Wet Utility Foreman to join their team in the Timonium, MD area

    Job Description

    The successful candidate will lead and supervise crews on-site, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This role involves overseeing various technical operations, including excavation, trenching, and pipe installation, while maintaining quality and compliance with safety standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Direct and supervise on-site crews, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.

    + Oversee excavation, trenching, pipe installation (water, sewer, storm), grading, compaction, and backfilling.

    + Operate and ensure maintenance of heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, dozers, and skid-steers.

    + Ensure strict adherence to OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and other applicable standards.

    + Monitor work for quality, ensuring it meets project specifications.

    + Communicate effectively with customers, inspectors, subcontractors, and management.

    + Track production, complete daily logs for labor and materials, take progress photos, and manage time entry.

    + Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to crew members.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of wet utility experience.

    + 2+ years of experience leading a wet utility crew.

    + Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, and front-end loaders.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Strong knowledge of wet utility and underground utilities.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in the utility space is a plus.

    + Experience with heavy equipment operation.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lutherville Timonium, MD.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $66.00 - $70.00/hr.
