    Job Title: Production Operator (1st Shift) ($21/hr.)

    Job Description

    As a Production Operator, you will complete assigned production operations following standard work procedures. You will assist with process setup and changeover, verify product quality, and report potential defects. Your role includes recording accurate production results, completing necessary paperwork and data entry for manufacturing and testing, and demonstrating safe work practices.

    Responsibilities

    + Complete assigned production operations in accordance with standard work procedures.

    + Assist with process setup and changeover.

    + Verify product quality at each operation and report all potential defects.

    + Record accurate production results and complete necessary paperwork and data entry for manufacturing and testing.

    + Demonstrate safe work practices and adhere to safety policies and procedures.

    + Maintain workplace organization and general housekeeping.

    + Maintain and care for production tools and equipment.

    + Move between production operations as needed to support customer requirements.

    + Contribute improvement ideas and support changes.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    + Ability to read and understand work instructions, engineering drawings, and product specifications.

    Work Environment

     

    Our graphite shop may be a bit dusty due to the heat-treating process for discs, resulting in a slightly dirty environment. The facility can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, though break rooms are equipped with air conditioning. With over 90 years of expertise, we are the world leader in graphite rupture disk production, adhering to various international standards. Our facility is located in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio, USA, and is the only one dedicated solely to graphite rupture disks.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chagrin Falls, OH.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
