Job Title: Service Electrician
Job Description
Under the supervision of the Security Service Manager, the Security Alarm Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting CCTV, Card Access, Fire, and Burglar systems. The role involves diagnosing issues and making recommendations to fix or replace systems based on what is best for the customer.
Responsibilities
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including CCTV, Card Access, Fire, and Burglar systems.
+ Communicate with customers to understand system needs and restore normal operations.
+ Write detailed notes in work orders.
+ Communicate with the office regarding any follow-up required.
+ Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
+ Follow safety processes and promote a culture of safety.
+ Document parts used on the job and order materials as needed.
+ Provide technical support and communicate with other technicians.
+ Promote and support the company’s core values.
Essential Skills
+ Low voltage electrical troubleshooting skills.
+ Advanced knowledge of tools and safe usage.
+ Customer-focused and relationship-driven.
+ Clear and accurate written and verbal communication skills.
+ Resourcefulness when dealing with unfamiliar products.
+ Ability to work independently and remain motivated.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
+ Detail-oriented and organized.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with conduit bending and wiring.
+ Ability to pull wire and run conduit efficiently.

Work Environment
The work schedule consists of a 10-hour shift from Monday to Friday, with on-call responsibilities. The role requires a professional who can work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ephrata, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
