Job Title: Site Maintenance Manager

Job Description

As a Site Maintenance Manager, you will provide leadership and mentorship to Maintenance Managers and Area Maintenance Managers across the North American Fulfillment Network. You will be responsible for developing business plans for the Maintenance Department and ensuring their successful implementation. Your role will involve creating and executing reliability plans to enhance the uptime of facilities and driving maintenance best practices. You will offer guidance to senior leadership on maintenance and equipment end-of-life issues, oversee budget development and execution, and manage vendor relationships. Additionally, you will lead recruitment efforts for top talent in maintenance roles and contribute to creating a world-class maintenance organization.

Responsibilities

+ Provide leadership and mentorship to site-based Maintenance Managers and Area Maintenance Managers.

+ Develop and implement business plans and reliability plans to increase facility uptime.

+ Drive innovation and standardize maintenance best practices, ensuring a safe work environment.

+ Advise senior leadership on maintenance and equipment end-of-life issues using ROI and analytical techniques.

+ Oversee budget development, execution, and capital planning.

+ Manage vendor support and equipment relationships to maximize economies of scale.

+ Monitor, audit, and enforce maintenance execution and safe work practices.

+ Develop and manage budget and contract documents, including RFPs, change orders, and purchase orders.

+ Provide visibility to Fulfillment Center General Managers over maintenance conduct.

+ Recruit, interview, and hire talented individuals for maintenance roles.

+ Contribute to creating a world-class maintenance organization.

Essential Skills

+ 10+ years of experience managing large complex facilities organizations.

+ 7+ years of senior management and leadership responsibilities.

+ Bachelor's Degree required.

+ Experience leading maintenance teams in multiple site environments.

+ 7+ years managing employees and their performance.

+ Maintenance management, process improvement, leadership communication.

+ Experience with automated equipment, conveyance, MHE, robotics, maintenance supervision, lean manufacturing, preventive maintenance, safety.

+ Strong communication, teambuilding, and influencing skills.

+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

+ Proficient data analyst and process developer.

+ Self-starter with minimal supervision needed.

+ Experience with material handling equipment and integrated systems maintenance.

+ Strong statistical analysis skills.

+ Knowledge of major MHE integrators.

+ Exposure to Lean Concepts, TOC, layout design, cost/benefit analysis, labor productivity analysis, safety, and ergonomic factors.

+ Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Project, and SQL.

+ MBA or Master's degree and/or Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is a plus.

Work Environment

You will work in a highly complex automated distribution center leading a team of over 80 technicians. The facility operates 24/7, providing a fast-paced environment that requires technical expertise and strong leadership skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Arlington, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
