    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift. The role involves delegating and overseeing the workflow from the potato room through packaging and production personnel. You will be responsible for driving plant KPIs on a shift-by-shift basis and collaborating with technicians and associates to meet daily production goals.

    Responsibilities

    + Delegate and oversee workflow for line operations from potato room to packaging.

    + Drive plant KPIs on a shift-by-shift basis.

    + Collaborate with technicians and associates to achieve daily production goals.

    + Communicate production-related concerns to the Production Supervisor promptly.

    + Ensure areas are 'audit ready' by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and food safety.

    + Lead training for team members on industry processes, equipment operations, and safety.

    + Report any potential food safety issues.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of Production Leadership Experience.

    + 2+ years in a fast-paced production environment.

    + 2+ years of supervision or leadership experience.

    + Ability to operate machinery and lead production teams.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + One to three months of related experience or training.

    + Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.

    + Effective communication skills for addressing groups of customers or employees.

    + Mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate figures and apply algebra and geometry concepts.

    + Physical ability to stand, use hands, and lift up to 50 pounds.

    Work Environment

     

    The position is for the 2nd shift, running from 2 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime on weekends. You'll work in a clean, climate-controlled environment adhering to GMP standards, with required PPE such as hair nets, beard nets, smocks, hard hats, and non-slip steel-toe shoes. The role involves working in both office and manufacturing settings, with exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet or humid conditions, and airborne particles.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/hr.
