Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

As a General Production Worker, you will be trained to perform electronic assembly of switches for various industries including military, government, agriculture, and healthcare. You will work with small parts, requiring excellent hand-eye coordination, using hand tools to build different component parts and gathering necessary materials.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards.

+ Work with small precision hand tools.

+ Stand or sit at your workstation for extended periods, maintaining attention to detail.

+ Train on ultrasound lines for mechanical assembly, working at a conveyor belt and following work orders.

+ Complete additional tasks as assigned, ensuring quality and precision in all assembly work.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in electronic assembly.

+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.

+ Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Solder certification is a plus.

+ Experience with pick and place equipment can lead to adjusted pay rates.

Work Environment

You will work in a manufacturing environment with long rows of workstations. Shifts include 1st shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm), 2nd shift (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm), and 3rd shift (10:00 pm - 6:30 am), with flexibility required for start times. Expect 3-4 hours of overtime daily, resulting in 50-60 hours per week. Regular temperature checks and health screenings are conducted for safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mc Cook, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
