    Job Title: Pallet Builder

    Job Description

    Join a 4th generation family-owned business with a rich heritage and 94 retail locations throughout the Midwest. We are seeking a Pallet Builder for our main distribution center, which supplies products to all locations.

    Responsibilities

    + Go through received materials and organize them in the warehouse.

    + Use an RF scanner to track inventory within the warehouse.

    + Pull and prepare orders for daily shipments.

    + Stock and palletize orders according to work orders.

    + Use shrink wrap to prepare loaded pallets for shipments.

    + Collaborate with forklift operators to move materials as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience using a forklift and RF scanner.

    + Familiarity with inventory management and pallet jacks.

    + General labor and warehouse production skills.

    + Experience in picking, order picking, packing, loading, and material handling.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 6 months of previous manual labor experience required.

    + Must be able to lift 50lbs.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a large distribution warehouse with multiple levels. While the facility is equipped with fans, it can get hot during summer. Start times are flexible, though the primary shift runs from 5am to 2:30pm, Monday-Friday, with the possibility of arriving later if needed. Expect to work every other Saturday until Black Friday, with a lot of hours currently. The dress code requires closed-toed shoes and prohibits offensive clothing; t-shirts and shorts are allowed in hot weather. A second shift is available from 4pm to 12:30am.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SIOUX CITY, IA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
