    Position Overview

    The **Maintenance Manager** will be responsible for leading the maintenance team, managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.

     

    A critical part of this role will be **direct oversight of repairs and maintenance across all production lines** , ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead, train, and supervise the maintenance team to ensure optimal performance.

    + Oversee **repairs and troubleshooting on all production lines and equipment** .

    + Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.

    + Ensure compliance with food safety, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.

    + Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for equipment and services.

    + Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to support operational goals.

    + Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

    + Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, reports, and performance metrics.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field (preferred) OR equivalent technical experience.

    + 5+ years of maintenance experience in food production, manufacturing, or related industry.

    + Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

    + Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

    + Proven leadership and team management skills.

    + Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.

    + Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coconut Creek, FL.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $50.00/hr.
