    Job Title: Wire Harness Assembler

    Job Description

    We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Wire Harness Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling control systems and wiring harnesses by interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Your precision and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

    Responsibilities

    + Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and bills of material.

    + Assemble individual components into control systems and wiring harnesses.

    + Perform basic fabrication using hand tools such as wire crimpers and strippers.

    + Label and organize parts for assembly.

    + Assist with inventory control and packaging of completed systems.

    + Prepare and reconcile shipping documents and UPS packages.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.

    + Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.

    + Experience with hand tools and basic assembly processes.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous electronics or mechanical assembly experience is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a climate-controlled environment, primarily involving manual assembly with extensive use of hand tools. The role requires 80% sitting and 20% standing. Be part of a small, friendly team with a regular Monday to Friday day shift schedule. The work location is in Decatur, AL, with hours from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, AL.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
