    Job Title: CNC Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machines and a keen eye for detail in performing quality checks. This position offers an opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with the potential for career advancement.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate CNC machines with precision.

    + Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

    + Utilize a tape measure to precise measurements of up to 1/32nd of an inch.

    + Read micrometers and calipers to ensure accurate measurements.

    + Operate sit-down forklifts and cranes to move materials onto the production line.

    + Set up and change over machinery efficiently.

    + Clean and maintain machines regularly.

    + Debur and identify machine code errors.

    + Perform and complete quality checks.

    + Input information accurately on computers.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 2 years of CNC experience or CNC laser experience.

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints and using a tape measure.

    + Ability to operate CNC laser machines.

    + Computer literacy and familiarity with micrometers and calipers.

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes is advantageous.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hobart, IN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
