ATSU - Procurement Services Specialist

Description

Duties & Responsibilities

+ Finalizing and sourcing purchase requests with suppliers.

+ Receiving, organizing, and verifying delivery of goods; notifying employees of mail and packages.

+ Organize and sort all incoming postal letters and packages; process all outbound postal letters and packages.

+ Guiding employees through the procurement process to find cost effective solutions for supplies, use of procurement software, and understanding policies.

+ Coordinating with departments on pending orders.

+ Digitizing, entering, and processing of vouchers and invoices.

+ Maintaining and issuing local purchasing vouchers.

Requirements

Skills & Experience

+ High School Degree required with one year of technical training or schooling preferred.

+ Past experience in procurement or related field is preferred.

+ Analytical and problem solving.

+ Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments.

+ Data entry and keyboarding.

+ Organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.

+ Detail oriented and able to work in fast paced environment.

+ Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.

+ Need to be able to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

+ Friendly, university minded, goal seeking, empathetic, enjoy assisting others, patient.
