    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join our team in a small shop environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various warehouse tasks, with a strong focus on efficiency, accuracy, and customer service.

    Responsibilities

    + Locate and pull parts for packaging and shipment.

    + Manage inventory and perform data entry tasks.

    + Coordinate shipping with freight brokers and manage UPS/FedEx waybills.

    + Handle international shipping, including export documentation.

    + Provide exceptional customer service through phone and email communication.

    + Operate forklifts and handle materials safely.

    + Lift and move heavy boxes and bags, up to 40 lbs.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

    + Warehouse experience, including inventory management and material handling.

    + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform multitasking effectively.

    + Strong customer service skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with scheduling shipments and handling export documentation.

    + Familiarity with SAP or Oracle is a plus.

    + Forklift operation experience, particularly sit-down forklifts.

    + General computer skills and knowledge in production environments.

    Work Environment

     

    Our work environment consists of a small shop with approximately 12 employees. The facility is non-climate controlled. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a half-hour unpaid lunch break.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, MO.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
