Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a focus on both electrical and mechanical systems to join our team. The role requires expertise in maintaining and repairing plastic injection molding machines and involves hands-on work with various mechanical and electrical components.

Responsibilities

+ Perform general maintenance and machine repair, including machine installation for plastic injection molding machines.

+ Conduct preventative maintenance and perform mechanical diagnosing and troubleshooting of pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, motors, gears, air systems, conveyor lines, cylinders, and valves.

+ Execute machine rigging tasks and troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480v 3 phase, 240v, and 120v, including Fanuc robots, drives, relays, control panels, and motors.

+ Interpret blueprints and schematics for maintenance operations.

+ Perform MIG and Stick welding on equipment.

+ Troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLC systems.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

+ Proficient in electrical troubleshooting, including 480v 3 phase down to 24v single phase.

+ Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

+ Strong PLC troubleshooting skills.

+ Mechanical troubleshooting capabilities for industrial equipment such as conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, and pumps.

+ Expertise in MIG welding and equipment fabrication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in injection molding or plastics is a plus.

+ Journeyman certification is advantageous.

Work Environment

The position is for the 2nd shift, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with potential voluntary Saturday shifts depending on business demand. The role involves working in a facility that manufactures automotive bumpers for leading car manufacturers. Employees must adhere to a non-tobacco use policy.

The pay range for this position is $70408.00 - $83928.00/yr.
