Job Title: Multi Craft Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join a dedicated team at a large poultry processing plant located in Harrisonburg, VA. The facility is renowned for serving high-profile clients and is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to enhance operations. The role involves carrying out preventative maintenance on Allen Bradley PLC systems, industrial equipment, and general building maintenance. Some experience with welding, as well as an eagerness to learn more about it, is essential.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventative maintenance on Allen Bradley PLC systems and industrial equipment.

+ Conduct building maintenance as required.

+ Utilize and expand welding skills on the job.

+ Work on machine adjustments, pumps, and rebuilds in EVIS.

+ Manage conveyors, electronic run machines, and cutting machines in Further Processing.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience or completion of a trades certificate or program.

+ Experience working on industrial equipment.

+ Exposure to electrical, mechanical, and welding tasks.

+ Knowledge of PLC is highly advantageous.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Electrical Troubleshooting.

+ Mechanical Troubleshooting.

+ PLC Programming.

Work Environment

The work environment is within a poultry plant, which is cold and wet. Shifts available are 2nd shift from 2pm to 10pm, and 3rd shift from 10pm to 6am, with a shift differential of $1/hr for 2nd shift and $2/hr for 3rd shift. Expect a supportive management team and opportunities for advancement.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisonburg, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
