    Job Title: Preventative Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    The Preventative Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine checks and servicing existing units such as walk-in coolers, freezers, and condensers. The role involves working closely with commercial clients to diagnose issues and execute a preventative maintenance checklist in the field. Technicians will work on mechanical and various HVAC equipment but do not require EPA certification. On-call duty is required once every six weeks.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform preventative maintenance checks on amps, voltages, and temperatures.

    + Identify and resolve air fuel issues.

    + Clean and service mechanical equipment, including HVAC units.

    + Collaborate with commercial clients to diagnose and fix equipment issues.

    + Adhere to the preventative maintenance checklist provided.

    + Be available for on-call duty every six weeks.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ years of experience in commercial and industrial preventative maintenance on mechanical systems.

    + OSHA 10 Certification.

    + Valid driver's license.

    + Knowledge of electrical systems including amps and voltage regulation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Mechanical aptitude.

    + Experience with compressors, pumps, and preventative maintenance service.

    Work Environment

     

    Work hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with on-call duty once every six weeks from Monday 4:30 PM to the following Monday 7:30 AM. The role involves working in various commercial and industrial buildings.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Syracuse, NY.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
