    As the Specialist - Events, you will support one Strategic Business Unit (SBU) and work under the guidance of senior team members and managers. You will focus on tactical execution and logistics for SBU-specific events, supporting strategic marketing initiatives and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-impact experiences. You will play a critical role in executing marketing events that drive engagement, brand visibility, and business outcomes.

    Responsibilities:

    + Coordinate registration, venue sourcing, vendor communications, and on-site logistics for conferences, exhibitions, receptions, and internal meetings. Own execution of assigned event components and ensure all elements are delivered on time and within budget.

    + Assist in implementing pre- and post-event marketing tactics to drive attendance and engagement. Support the development of promotional materials and communications aligned with marketing goals.

    + Track and reconcile event budgets for assigned programs. Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure financial accuracy throughout the planning lifecycle.

    + Maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and documentation. Proactively flag risks or delays and escalate issues to senior team members as needed.

    + Independently manage logistics workflows including venue coordination, catering orders, transportation arrangements, and on-site staffing.

    + Support the creation of presentations and event materials. Coordinate with internal contacts to ensure consistent messaging and branding.

    + Contribute to post-event reporting, including metrics on attendance and engagement. May assist with data collection, analysis, and insights.

    + Stay informed on event trends and technologies. Provide input on new ideas and process improvements to enhance event impact and efficiency.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelors Degree – Marketing, Communications, or equivalent years of related industry experience

    + 2+ years in solution or field event marketing, ideally within a Fortune 500 environment

    + Demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables. Maintain accountability for quality, timeliness, and stakeholder satisfaction

    + Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and maintain strong attention to detail

    + Strategic, proactive mindset with creativity and resourcefulness; adept at developing innovative event solutions and staying informed on industry trends

    + Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with skill in building consultative relationships with stakeholders and ensuring consistent messaging

    + Collaborative, personable, and resilient under pressure; able to adapt in fast-paced and dynamic environments while delivering high-quality results

    + Strong problem-solving, mathematical, and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management platforms

    + Ability to travel 25% - 50%

    **Physical Expectations:** Employee required to walk long distances repeatedly throughout the day.
