The **Siemens PTI Energy Business Advisory (EBA)** unit
is an experienced technology and management consultancy partner in the energy
sector. In this role, EBA creates value for our customers by providing
Strategic Planning, Valuation to support Mergers and Acquisitions, Risk
Management, and Market Intelligence backed by experience, technical knowledge,
and industry-leading tools.
We are seeking qualified candidates for ourGrid Software Summer Internship in Energy Business Advisory beginning in May2026. This program is based in Minnetonka, MN but will allow remote work in theUS.
You’ll make an impact by:
+ Supportingconsulting engagements, business process improvements, solutions totechnical issues, and data management and visualization.
+ Focusingon the interpretation and application of power and gas data to determinerelevant issues and inform strategic consultant engagements.
+ Deliveringresearch, data acquisition, and analysis of energy and power markets tocreate reports, models, and statistical insights that supportdecision-making and stakeholder communications.
+ Presentingfindings through briefings, charts, and presentations while safeguardingconfidentiality, adapting to shifting priorities, and leveragingprogramming and analytics skills (MATLAB, SQL, Python).

Basic Qualifications
+ Currentjunior or senior undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree, orgraduate student with at least one year remaining in their program.Candidates must not be graduating prior to September 2026.
+ Pursuinga degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
+ Legallyauthorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basiswithout company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Familiarwith MATLAB, C/C++, Java, Python or SQL programming languages
+ Workingknowledge of applications of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
+ Experienceusing collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, or Discord.
+ Abilityto work effectively with multinational and diverse groups and demonstrateleadership skills.
+ Self-starterwith good time management skills and the capacity to effectivelyprioritize a variety of concurrent activities.
