Bonus: $750 sign-on bonus
About the Role:
Join a two-person team operating a daily drop-in child care center serving children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old while their families attend court business. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, values teamwork, and creates a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Collaborate with center staff and maintain communication with the Director of Education
+ Assist and mentor new staff as needed
+ Work with the Assistant Child Care Coordinator to ensure safety and compliance
+ Participate in advisory meetings and assist with ordering supplies and snacks
+ Welcome and assist families upon arrival and departure, including paperwork and questions
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging environment for children
+ Support daily activities and provide snacks
+ Communicate professionally with families, staff, and community partners
+ Arrive on time, ready to contribute to a positive team culture
Requirements:
+ High school diploma required; supervisory experience preferred
+ Successful completion of mentoring program (upon hire)
+ Up-to-date physical and PPD
+ Experience working with children and families
+ Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor
