Compensation Range

Hourly: $18.55 - $26.90 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

Essential Functions

+ Perform routine and complex tasks in the servicing of mortgage loans in one or more of the various servicing functions which include administration, cashiering, new loans/acquisitions, special loans, escrow, investor accounting, customer service or default

+ Perform with limited supervision routine and complex tasks associated with specific functional area such as the problem recognition and research, problem analysis and resolution, and application of applicable regulations

+ Process Payments or Advances on loans, including maintenance and adjustments, utilizing multiple systems applications.

+ Handle routine and more difficult telephone inquiries

+ Assist in the training of new employees

+ Assist other functional areas as needed

+ Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

+ Thorough knowledge mortgage servicing functions

+ Intermediate analytical and problem solving skills

+ Ability to consistently meet or exceed minimum departmental productivity standards

+ Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

+ Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

+ Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

+ Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook

Education & Experience

+ High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required

+ 4+ years mortgage loan experience required

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $18.55 to $26.90 per hour.
