    Summary of Role:

    This position is for an Engineer to be a part of Fab Process Integration team. Successful candidate will participate in technology transfer and bring it to high volume production in GlobalFoundries’ state of the art 300mm wafer fab (Fab8) in Malta, New York.

    Essential Responsibilities include:

    + Collaborate with other GlobalFoundries Fab for technology transfer

    + Setup manufacturing route, process flow and documentation for technology transfer and new product introduction

    + Process matching for inline, physical, electrical test, yield and deliver silicon for qualification

    + Work with cross function teams (module engineering, test, reliability, yield etc) to meet the technology qualification criteria

    Other Responsibilities:

    + Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Education – Graduating with Bachelor’s or Masters in Material, Physics, Engineering or related field from an accredited degree program.

    + Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.

    + Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Prior related internship or co-op experience.

    + Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.

    + Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills

    + Strong planning & organizational skills

    Expected Salary Range

     

    $54,200.00 - $110,300.00

     

    The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
