    *This is a benefited, full time position working 8-hr shifts Monday – Friday with variable start times between 7am-8:30am with a 30 minute lunch. No weekends or holidays. Located at the Anderson Medical Pavilion in La Jolla.*

    *What you'll do: *

    * Perform technical skills to accurately assess the status of each patient

    * Educate patients and document patient interactions

    * Practice infection control

    * Contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care

    * Perform EKGs

    * Place external monitors

    * Support AICD & pacemaker clinic by rooming patients and prepping charts

    * Prepare patients for cardiac Stress Testing

    *Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:*

    * At least 6 months experience performing 12 lead EKG's

    * Basic EKG training

    * Current BLS from the American Heart Association

    *Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:*

    * National EKG Registry

    * Cardiology Experience

    * 4 months experience performing Stress Testing
