Job Description:

These would be IT Asset Management positions, focusing on working Onboarding and Offboarding tickets, running monthly audits, and generally taking over duties from my current team so I can focus them on the merger. Here’s a rough job description:

Infrastructure Lifecyle Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains accurate, auditable CMDB records for network, server, and storage Infrastructure hardware and software assets throughout all phases of the IT asset lifecycle.

• Creates and maintains detailed documentation on IT asset lifecycle processes, in compliance with regulatory requirements and risk and audit standards.

• Serves as a resource for Asset Management related projects including, but not limited to, on-site audits, mergers and acquisitions, support and licensing true ups and true forwards, and location openings and closures.

• Displays an intense focus on protecting the company and its customers through the tracking of proper data sanitization during asset and media disposition processes.

• Performs regular inventory audits to ensure data accuracy in CMDB, vendor managed warehouses, shipping and receiving records, to proactively identify and resolve incidents and problems.

• Provides effective production support including accurate problem identification, ticket documentation and customer/vendor dialogue.

• Keeps abreast of current and emerging technologies, and the changing landscape of IT Asset Management, and understands how they integrate and drive value.

• Maintains current professional and technical skills. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
