Rincon Consultants, Inc. is seeking a **Supervising Engineer** to guide multidisciplinary teams delivering innovative infrastructure, utility, and environmental projects across California. What You’ll Do
+ Lead and mentor a team of 4+ engineers and technicians, fostering technical excellence and career growth.
+ Oversee design, planning, and delivery of infrastructure, utility, and environmental projects.
+ Review and stamp final engineering designs (if PE-licensed) for quality and compliance.
+ Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources for on-time, on-budget delivery.
+ Represent clients in meetings with regulatory agencies and project partners.
+ Drive innovation through new technologies, sustainable solutions, and continuous improvement practices.
What You Bring
+ Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
+ California **Professional Engineer (PE)** license.
+ 10+ years of progressive engineering experience, including 5+ years leading teams.
+ Proven expertise in **site assessment, remediation design, or capital improvement projects** .
+ Familiarity with **DTSC** and **Regional Water Quality Control Board** processes.
+ Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Preferred:
+ Experience in public-sector or municipal projects.
+ PMP certification or continuous improvement training.
+ Multidisciplinary background in civil, utilities, transportation, or environmental engineering.

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000–$150,000, plus benefits and bonus. At Rincon, our salary ranges are based on market median of similar jobs, according to third party salary benchmark surveys. The base pay that is actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
