Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Type: Contract To Hire

Compensation: $23 hourly

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: Mon-Fri, from 8am to 4:30pm with OT as needed

Shipping & Receiving Clerk Responsibilities:

+ Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.

+ Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and carrier requirements.

+ Maintain accurate inventory records of all incoming and outgoing materials.

+ Load and unload delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.

+ Label, tag, and store received materials in designated locations.

+ Coordinate with carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries.

+ Check shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and packing slips.

+ Track shipments and resolve any discrepancies or delays with vendors or transporters.

+ Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

+ Collaborate with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth material flow.

+ Complete cycle counts Using SAP and Microsoft 350 to

Shipping & Receiving Clerk Requirements:

+ HS Diploma or equivalent required

+ Forklift experience

+ Experience with inventory counts and receiving raw materials

+ Strong computer skills

+ SAP experience is a huge plus

+ Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping software (e.g., FedEx, UPS, ERP systems).

+ Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
