SUMMARY: Sell tickets for events. Provide excellent customer service. This is a causal part-time job based on events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process oral and written requests for tickets to various events

• View and enter ticket information to create requested ticket

• Assist customers in obtaining tickets and information

• Balance cash drawer at close of shift

• Maintain and update event maps

• Answer the telephone and provide requested event information

• Provide excellent customer service and always maintain a courteous and professional demeanor

• Exercise restraint and patience when dealing with a disruptive patron

• Other duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Must be at least 18 years old

• HS Diploma or GED required

• Six (6) months prior customer service experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Excellent customer service skills

• Must be personable and pro-active in providing assistance to all patrons and staff

• Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others

• Must have professional presentation, appearance and work ethic

• Must be fluent in English

• Able to see and read small sized text on tickets (paper and electronic)

• Must be able to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, holidays as well as during normal business hours

• Use hands to handle and count coins and currency

• See and read small print

• May be required to move around the facility, climbing stairs, walking, and standing or sitting for an entire shift

Pay Rate: $15.50 /hr
