+ Process Engineer – Injection Molding (Tooling Focus)

System One is seeking a skilled Process Engineer with strong injection molding and tooling experience to support new product development and process improvement initiatives. This role offers a hands-on, high-impact opportunity within a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.
What You’ll Do
+ Lead process development and improvement for new tooling and injection molding projects.
+ Plan and execute tool validations, DOE runs, and qualification activities.
+ Troubleshoot machine, tool, and process issues during development and sampling.
+ Coordinate and schedule mold samplings with cross-functional teams and production.
+ Develop and document optimized process parameters, ensuring repeatability and quality.
+ Travel to tooling suppliers and other facilities to support initial tool sampling and validation.
+ Ensure compliance with safety standards, documentation accuracy, and process control procedures.
+ What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
+ 5+ years of injection molding process engineering experience.
+ Strong background in tooling, mold setup, and process troubleshooting.
+ Proven ability to independently manage sampling, validation, and process documentation.
Nice-to-Haves
+ Degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
+ Experience in medical-grade molding or other regulated manufacturing environments.
+ Familiarity with DOE methodologies, process monitoring software, and GD&T.
