*School Psychologist need for important role at La Porte, IN school*?? Location: La Porte, IN

La Porte Community Schools is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide on-site psychological services to students across various grade levels. The School Psychologist will support students facing mental health and developmental challenges and assist in qualifying them for additional support services. This role is vital in promoting student well-being and academic success through collaboration with educators, families, and district staff.

Key Responsibilities

+ Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations.

+ Support students with mental health, behavioral, and developmental needs.

+ Collaborate with school teams to develop and implement intervention plans.

+ Assist in determining eligibility for special education services.

+ Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

+ Active School Psychologist license in the state of Indiana.

+ Master’s degree in Psychology (preferred).

+ Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations (preferred).

+ Compliance with professional standards of practice.

+ Current CPR certification (if applicable).

+ TB screening and health certificate (as required by contract/state).

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.

+ Must be at least 18 years of age.
