    Position Title: Part-Time Special Education Teacher

    Start Date: ASAP or by November 17, 2025

    Pay Rate: $52.00/hour

     

    Schedule: 20 hours/week

     

    Contract Length: 2025–2026 School Year

     

    Age Group: Kindergarten–5th Grade

    Position Overview

    The Special Education Teacher will provide quality services to K–5 students under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator. This role involves collaboration with general education staff to support student success through special instruction, tutorial assistance, and consultation.

    Minimum Requirements

    + Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)

    + Valid state teaching certificate (required)

    + At least 1 year of experience in a teaching environment (preferred)

    + Oregon Teaching License (preferred)

    + Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) (preferred)

    + CPR certification (if applicable)

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)

    + Current health certificate (per contract/state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
