    Waste Connections (Apache Junction, AZ)


    Waste Connections is looking for a safety conscious **Labor/Forklift Operator** to join our GROWING team in Apache Junction, Arizona.

     

    Schedule:$6:00am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday

     

    Pay: $18.00 per hour

     

    In this position you will be operating our loader or baler, also along with trucks and smaller equipment at our recycling facility.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Pushing recyclables onto an incline belt

    • Loading recycle materials in a hopper

    • Loading dump trucks, open top trailers, and pushing up piles of yard debris

    • Responsible for equipment inspection

    • Assisting customers and employees as needed

    MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Proven experience in operating Forklifts and Balers

    • Ability to be self-directed as well as work in a team environment

    • Ability to work in all weather conditions

    • Must be 18 years of age or older.
