Tool Maker – Job Description

This position supports daily operations in the Tool Room, focusing on Tool & Die repair. The ideal candidate must be proficient in using a wide range of precision measuring equipment and demonstrate strong technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist with Tool Room activities and Tool & Die maintenance.

+ Build and repair jigs, fixtures, stamping dies, and injection molding dies.

+ Operate and maintain various shop equipment, including:

+ Lathes

+ Milling machines

+ Saws

+ Grinders

+ Hand tools

+ Apply basic shop mathematics, including:

+ Trigonometry

+ Plane and solid geometry

+ Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

Preferred Skills:

+ Welding

+ CNC machining

+ EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining)

Qualifications:

+ Completion of an approved apprenticeship program, trade school, college program, or an equivalent combination of education and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Pay Range

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 30.00 - 35.00 /hr
