Job Summary

Join Wolfgang Puck Catering at the world-renowned Space Center Houston, where inspired culinary experiences meet innovation and discovery. As **_Catering Sales Manager,_** you will drive growth, plan and execute high-profile events, and uphold our standard of excellence in hospitality. This role is ideal for a polished, client-focused professional with a passion for creating memorable experiences that reflect both the Wolfgang Puck brand and the spirit of exploration that defines Space Center Houston.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Develop and manage catering sales opportunities from initial inquiry through execution, ensuring seamless client experiences.

+ Create customized proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders in collaboration with culinary and operations teams.

+ Partner with the Executive Chef and General Manager on menu design, costing, and event planning to ensure profitability and creativity.

+ Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying new business opportunities across corporate, social, and community events.

+ Prepare and monitor departmental budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to achieve revenue goals.

+ Manage event logistics including labor planning, setup, service flow, and post-event wrap-up.

+ Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards, including HACCP guidelines.

+ Represent Wolfgang Puck Catering at networking events, tastings, and industry functions to enhance visibility and drive business growth.

+ Support and train hourly and management-level associates, reinforcing excellence in service standards and brand presentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

+ Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals in catering or event management.

+ Minimum of 2 years in the hospitality industry, including at least 1 year in catering sales.

+ Strong knowledge of food trends, fine dining service, and event presentation.

+ Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport and maintain client loyalty.

+ Skilled in developing menu proposals and coordinating with culinary teams.

+ Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with CRM systems preferred.

+ Adaptable, organized, and calm under pressure with excellent attention to detail.
