Job Description:
Job Summary
Responsible for entering new prescriptions for patients, processing prescription exceptions, and making contact with physician offices and patients. This position may also assist in Back End efforts such as Picking, Packing and Manifesting based on business need.
Job Responsibilities
+ Provides full scope patient quality assurance with a focus on quality/accuracy drivers and pharma program requirements.
+ Assists with new hire and departmental training.
+ Provides primary support and resolution for escalated issues and challenging cases.
+ Conduct quality monitoring and audits of team.
+ Conduct side-by-sides (Work in Progress management).
+ Participates in special projects as needed.
+ Provides temporary backup to department Supervisor.
+ Other registered and/or licensed responsibilities as judgment or necessity dictate.

External Basic Qualifications:
+ High School diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED
+ Must have an active pharmacy technician license or certification as required by state Board of Pharmacy
+ Current Pharmacy Technician License/Registration without restrictions in good standing with State Board of Pharmacy if required in the State in which the position is located (for Pharmacy Tech levels)
+ Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
+ Basic knowledge of and skills using MS Windows, MS Office Suite and/or similar operating/software programs
+ Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a diplomatic and confidential manner
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 1 year of work experience in a healthcare, specialty pharmacy, PBM and/or call center setting.

An employee in this position can expect an hourly rate between $18.25 to $24.30. The actual salary will depend on experience, seniority, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law.
