    Responsibilities

    V2X is seeking a motivated individual to support the Canadian F/A-18 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program at NAVAIR PMA-265 as a FMS Financial Analyst Journeyman. The position will directly support the United States Government FMS Business Financial Manager (BFM) with the execution of the below key responsibilities.

     

    • Utilizes Navy ERP to perform financial execution functions and MISIL to track all commitments, obligations, and expenditures for FMS case funds, • Assists with development of appropriate acquisition documentation for FMS products and services. • Analyze information from MISIL, DSAMS, SCIP, Navy ERP, or other FMS Case Management and financial systems or tools, and case files. • Perform managerial / cost accounting, budgeting, funding execution, manpower management, workload, acquisition, document management, system support, and financial analyses to provide efficient allocation and effective utilization of financial resources, making recommendation for improving operations, systems, and reporting. • Identify and evaluate financial risks associated with commitments, obligations, and expenditures; reconcile FMS cases utilizing MISIL and Navy ERP

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Education:

    Equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained may be substituted for education, if degree is required. • BA/BS in Management Information Systems, Business, Accounting, or Finance with 3 to 10 years experience. • Or Associate’s Degree with 7-10 years of experience • Or High School Diploma with 10+ years’ experience

     

    Experience: • At least three (3) years of Navy ERP experience required. • Financial management experience should include financial analysis of business programs, development of cost estimates, program status reports, and knowledge of DOD Federal Management Regulations (FMR), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and • MS Office Suite Proficient.

     

    Other Requirements: • U.S. Secret Security Clearance • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data system. • minimal travel requirements

     

    Skills and Technology Used: • Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving: • Possesses both analytical skills and attention to detail. • Problem solving skills and ability to submit thorough closure recommendations to business program. • Strong commitment to use and interpretation of federal regulations and applying financial analysis of business programs effectively • Time management skills performing work under deadlines • Business Partner/Effective Communicator: • Accomplishes work in timely manner and with minimal direction from supervisor. • English language skills to communicate. • Strong communicator must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and orally. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Customer service oriented, detail focused, pro-active behavior, multi-task capability.
