    The Maintenance Coordinator is a critical role in the Production Organization that coordinates the production requirements with Maintenance and Engineering organizations’ activities. This role is responsible for understanding the production schedule and ensuring that equipment is available to meet production demands, in a way that optimizes equipment uptime.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities:

    The Mechanical Coordinator is responsible for daily coordination the maintenance and engineering requirements of all the process equipment. Responsible for having a firm knowledge of the plant’s equipment layout and understanding the sites production strategy and goals. Must be able to anticipate plant priorities and make adjustments as needed.

     

    + Acts as the lead Equipment Owner.

    + Issue Work Permits in accordance with S10G.

    + Responsible for the safe execution of the work in the areas.

    + Review all Work Notifications and/or Work Orders for accuracy, detail level, and priority.

    + Align scope of work with Maintenance Supervisor and Planner

    + Collaborate with Production Scheduling, Operation Team, and Project Team, and Engineering, for prioritization for Equipment needs and repairs.

    + Identify emergency work and coordinate with the Maintenance Planner and Maintenance Supervisor to adjust and plan work schedule

    + Attends and leads scheduling meetings and coordinates with planning & scheduling and maintenance activities to ensure a smooth daily work schedule is produced.

    Minimum Education and experience required:

    + 5+ years of maintenance and/or operations experience in a manufacturing environment.

    + Technical degree (2-year) is a plus.

    + Experience in scheduling or coordination roles strongly preferred.

    + Experience with orings or similar advanced materials manufacturing processes highly valued, particularly in environments requiring close collaboration between production, maintenance, and engineering teams.

    + SAP experience preferred.

    Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

    + Personnel computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.

    + Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

    + Strong team player with an ability to work closely with all functional teams within the plant.

    + Demonstrated ability to work with many individuals, oversee strategic and tactical contractor administration processes

    + Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks, setting and communicating priorities, and understanding the business drivers

    + Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective task planning

    + Ability to manage conflicting priorities and set performance expectations.
