**Shift:** Days 7AM-7PM
12 Hour Shifts, Various, Weekend Rotation Required

Float to all 8 locations: Altamonte, Apopka, Winter Garden, Orlando, East Orlando, Winter Park, Kissimmee and Celebration
Seeking RNs with 3 year of the following experience:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

The Regional Inpatient Float Pool offers employees the opportunity to experience different Critical Care Units of Multiple specialties while serving various communities in the Greater Orlando area.
The role you'll contribute:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering compassionate, evidenced -based care that supports the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of patients and families. The RN will adhere to the American Nursing Association (ANA) Code of Ethics and the ANA Scope and Standards for Nursing Practice. In this role he/she will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans. The RN upholds AdventHealths service standards while fostering a healing environment grounded in safety, respect, and whole-person care.

+ Makes appropriate decisions and implements interventions based on nursing diagnoses according to patients' actual or potential health conditions or needs.
+ Sets measurable and achievable short and long-range goals for patients, developing and implementing individualized plans of care.
+ Prioritizes and completes follow-up assessments, evaluating and modifying plans of care as needed.
+ Assesses and interprets diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition, including lab results, non-invasive monitoring data, and interdisciplinary team notes.
+ Applies knowledge and skills pertaining to all diagnoses, procedures, medications, complications, and equipment associated with unit patient population.
+ Adheres to all pertinent regulatory standards, follows strict infection prevention precautions, and ensures medication safety.
+ Promotes an exceptional patient experience through effective communication with patients, families, and visitors, including hourly rounding.
+ Utilizes appropriate techniques, verbiage, and resources in all interactions with patients according to their level of understanding.
+ Communicates effectively with the interdisciplinary team, completing thorough hand-off communication in all situations.
+ Abides by American Nurses Association Scope, Standards, and Code of Ethics, participating in practice changes, process improvement initiatives, and completing all required education.
+ Other duties as assigned.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
**Minimum qualifications** :
+ Graduate of a school of nursing
+ Current valid State of Florida or multi state license as a Registered Nurse
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
+ Advanced life support certification (ACLS, PALS, NRP) per specialty/unit requirements
Preferred qualifications:
+ Bachelors degree in Nursing
+ Neonatal Resuscitation Program
