    Position Description:

    Performs work to assist in the organization and implementation of projects and programs. Responsibilities include activities which require knowledge of departmental procedures. Employee performance is based upon a review of completed work and overall results obtained.

    Major/Essential Functions:

    + Performs work to assist in the organization and implementation of projects and programs. Responsibilities include activities which require knowledge of departmental procedures. Employee performance is based upon a review of completed work and overall results obtained.

    + Supervises the performance of student assistants in completing assigned tasks.

    + Assists patrons in using the Library by answering simple reference questions, providing direction and providing assistance with the Library's computer systems.

    + Supervises MEB and MSB II library operations during the evening and weekend hours.

    + Accepts and receives credit card payments for library services. Maintains accurate records of all transactions.

    + Circulates and retrieves library materials.

    + Answers the telephone and responds to queries, and also through the LibChat system.

    + Processes donations.

    + Helps and exhibits availability in participating in any additional project that is assigned by the Managing Director of the Libraries and/or immediate supervisor.

    + Helps with transcribing, processing, organizing, and creating finding aids for archive materials.

    + Remains current with all licensure, certifications, and mandatory compliances and trainings required of this position.

    + Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures, and processes. computer

    + Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP's values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution.

    + Perform all other duties as assigned.
